This site collects only the minimum needed to understand what is useful and to keep the archive healthy.
What is collected
Simple page views, broad country/city information if Cloudflare provides it, search terms used on the site, saves/shares/copy actions, mailing-list submissions, reader reflections, and correction notes you intentionally submit.
What is not collected
No raw IP addresses are stored, no precise location is stored, and there are no advertising trackers. Approximate visitor counts use a privacy-preserving daily key for a general idea, not a permanent identity.
Your submitted information
Comments, mailing-list emails, and correction/contact notes are stored only when you submit them. You can ask for removal through the contact page.
